The negative reviews don't reflect the refurbished version of this product. What tends to happen is the few people with problems post them, but Samsung has sold literally hundreds of thousands of this model without a high defect rate. In most all cases, buying refurbished means that the product functionality has been through complete functionality testing, and in a lot of cases is as good if not better that the original. This model is warrantied also - pretty safe bet!
