- Answer Regrettably, the Linkstick is not compatible with the P1500. However, the P1500 can still be connected via Ethernet.

- Answer As a matter of fact, all of the Samsung BD players offer HDMI connections for the best possible video and audio quality. That being said, both audio and video is transmitted over one HDMI cable. -MrSamsung

- Answer I'm sorry, but the P1500 does not support connectivity through a USB to a camcorder or other external device. On the other Samsung BD players, there is some USB device connectivity, but none of the units support a camcorder unless the camcorder saves it's movie files as an avi format. -MrSamsung

- Answer I have tried to play many DVDs on this BD player and it will work for a while and then quit. Now it has begun to do the same thing with BDs as well. I would say that it is just very cheaply made, but that's just speculation.

- Answer If the unit is purchased within the North American territories, it will only be Region 1 compatible. Different region DVDs and BDs may not work with this unit. -MrSamsung

- Answer I wouldn't be able to say whether the firmware was updated or not, however even if the firmware was not updated, it would still be easily updated by downloading the update online. -MrSamsung
