Yes it is - the great part about this phone is that it is compatible with any of the US carriers. You can get service on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile as well as Cricket, Net 10k, etc. I signed up for service from StraightTalk using Verizon's network and am very happy with both the phone and service so far.
