MrSamsung, please try again. Assuming I have a compatible device, it can still be formatted with one of MANY different file systems (i.e. - FAT, FAT32, NTFS, HPFS, etc...). I asked the initial question because I have seen many complaints about Sony products supporting only the FAT32 file system, thus limiting the file size to ~4 GB. With the size of digital media these days, that is insufficient. Hence, I'm trying to figure out if the NTFS file system is readable by this device...thus overcoming the 4GB file size limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hard-drives may be "hit and miss". This model supports MSC Class devices, such as thumb-drives. So while we can't suggest that all models will work, there will likely be some hard-drives that will be compatible. Thanks for your interest in Samsung Smart Blu-Ray players. --Mr.Samsung
