“I can't get video of event on phone to show. Just figure of person saying event happened”

In the app go to the camer, provide password, tap hamburger button, then tap the camera with SD card icon. From there a calendar is presented, choose date and whether it's manually recorded video or movement detected video. From there it shows a clock of sorts of when the recorded video happened. Works well for me.
