- Answer When I first installed it, it DID send me notifications through the iphone app when an event (such as motion detected) happened. After the firmware update, this stopped working and I was never able to get it working again.

QuestionAfter there is a power outage, will the camera come back on or do have to reset it?

- Answer My cameras HD PLUS are in a different state. Sometimes when the power goes off, the app shows the camera is off line. That could be a problem, because you have to reboot the camera and to do that you have to turn it off and then back on. Since I am out of state, I have installed z-wave outlets, so that I can turn the camera off and on. Could use "smart things outlet" I would think. I also have one camera outside under the porch roof away from the direct weather. Have had no problem with 28 degrees, but if I see that the temperature is dropping to 10 of below zero, I can turn the camera off with the z-wave outlet. Hope this helps

QuestionCannot get video to play back. Warning comes up "Failed to play due to concurrent access or unstable network. Check the network status of the camera and the terminal." Have checked eveything; but still no video play back

- Answer No, you can either store to a micro sd card or to your phone on the fly. An account is needed to access the Camera from the app via the internet.

- Answer Yes, power cord needs to be plugged into wall outlet or power strip. The included cord is about 7 feet long. Extension cords can be used if the mounting position is not near a power outlet.

- Answer Depends on how much you want to sabe. If you want to save a ton of images buy a large one. If you only leave home for a few hours a small one works

- Answer When I was setting it up, there was a short delay during live-view. Maybe 1 or 1.5 seconds. Works fine for monitoring an area, you wouldn't want to try to use it as a webcam.

- Answer Yes, it plays live video and it can record at the same time. It can be setup to fill SD card and stop or continuous rolling window of time. How much time in video it holds will depend on size of SD card.

- Answer I have an android phone. I believe you can download the Samsung Smart Cam app on an iphone too. The cameras are just made by Samsung. You setup a free account with a login and password to access your cameras remotely on your phone. The cameras at home connect to your wifi network. It works great. Hope this helps.
