• The SmartThings Hub appears to be compatible will most Lowe's devices EXCEPT that none of the first generation sensors, fobs, etc. are supported.

• The newer contact sensors, Schlage locks, new style motion detector, First Alert wireless smoke and CO 2 detectors. So yes, this would be a good hub unit to roll over to.
