Your keyless entry locks should work without a hub as long as the battery is good. You will need a programming code (which you should have been supplied with to change any entry codes) and this will need to be done manually. With a hub, you can change or delete entry codes, lock and unlock the door remotely all through sn app. This only works if the hub is online. I have a 1st gen Wink - very easy to set up and use, and the app is intuitive BUT it loses connectivity often and needs to be reset. Problem resetting because it is at an AirBnB, but my guests still have keyless entry using the codes I preset.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Zwave works but does drop off line. Get the app and see if your locks are in the list. Old versions of sway doesn’t work. I don’t know why but think it is the old style encryption.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My Kwikset keyless still worked after disconnecting my Iris system and it can be programmed to work stand alone. I was able to connect it to the SmartThings hub. If you’re locks are Z-wave or ZigBee they should connect.
