“Does the door lay flat and parallel to the floor when open without the rack on it? I returned one that the door bounced up on when open and would not stay flat and want to know if this is the norm or if mine was truly defective. Thanks”

The door lays flat and parallel to the floor. It has mechanical resistance to it laying flat, which is quality in the product. There is no bouncing effect to it, it's not like opening a refrigerator door.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you push it down it will stay. When I just open it, it is at an angle a little bit, but when I push it all the way open, it stays that way even without the rack out until I close it. I think with time it will probably loosen up a little too.
