• A:Answer Yes. You are probably better if you get a new dishwasher installation kit from BB. The installers will remove and take away the old connection between the DW and sink and install the new one.

Q: QuestionHow do you mount the dishwasher to the side cabinet walls, with no side brackets or screws or proper instructions provided? You tube videos show many people creating their own half brackets. A service tech would cost $100-150!

• A:Answer There are light great caps on the inside ridge on each side. One on each side. You pop those out and that is where your screws go to mount it to the side of the cabinet. It does not come with screws for this. The book even says they are not provided. So you will have to pick them up. After we secured it the grey caps popped back in place.

Q: QuestionDoes this have a real heating element or just a little dinky fan to dry the dishes? I had a few dishwashers with a 'drying fan' and they JUST DON"T WORK! They leave spots while the heating element actually dries and helps keep from spotting.

• A:Answer It heats up when drying, then 3-5 minutes at the end, the door pops open to let steam escape. At that point, the fan kicks on to help complete the drying process. (Or maybe it's already on? Hard to tell, it's so quiet.) We don't have issues with spotting, even with hard water. We use Lemi Shine to aid in the rinse, so that also helps.
