Your question came up without a model reference, so I am unsure. DVD Players typically have fewer streaming options than dedicated streaming boxes and even TV's. Are you willing to get less in the way of a disc player to get better streaming options? Each price point has a balnace. My advice is to look for a good disc player that plays discs well. Then get a dedicated streamer like a Roku, Amazon Fire stick/cube for $35-80, or an Apple TV if you prefer for streaming. All of these will provide far more streaming choices, more frequent updates, and better performance than a jack of all trades player.
