“I am having an issue passing audio through the optical cable directly to a 6.1 receiver. The only way that I can get the sound to my receiver is via the optical out of the tv. I have a Samsung 75nu8000.”

• You may need to change the setup from HDMI audio to optical.

• You need to go into the audio menu and change to optical out. The full menu, not the quick one you can do during disk playback.
