Yes it has you-tube as a choice on the menu

You can connect to U-Tube directly through Wi-Fi.
Manual shows nothing about connecting to smart phones.

Yes, you can also just use the Blue-Ray player's Youtube app to find your favorite music videos and watch them without needing your smart phone!

Yes. There should be a symbol on the top of YouTube video that looks like a screen with wave w
marks on it. Touch it, a window should pop up with your Wi-Fi device list on it. Touch that, your smartphone should sync with your Blu-ray player, and you should se the video on your TV.

You wont be able to do that, because the blu ray player doesn't have any bluetooth capabilities. The blu ray player comes with a youtube app that is very easy to use. I would recommend doing that.
