I have the same trouble. It takes several trys to get it to work. I thought it was my internet.

how strong is the signal it's trying to connect to? It may detect it but the signal may not be strong enough to keep connected.

I had the exact same problem. I finally just bought a different player. Be sure that you have done all the required updates on the player.
