yes, very well. as stated in my review, we have 4 in our household now; only (previously) used one to stream...others are used as simple Blu-ray players with no problem. Just bought "with wifi" because when they were on sale, they were actually cheaper than any other 'non-streaming' player.

Hello, as long as the Blu-ray disc does not require any downloads you can still play them without Wi-Fi. ^Britt

Hello, as long as the Blu-ray disc does not require any downloads you can still play them without Wi-Fi. ^Britt
