Yes, there are two cables included in the box - a USB Type C 3.1 cable, and a USB Type A 3.0 cable. You can choose the appropriate one to connect to your computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works with 3.0 , or better . Most everything is 2.0 or 3.0 these days . But if you use it on a 2.0 port you have to buy a divider cord that plugs into the hard drive then branches out to two usb plugs . Otherwise it will no have enough power and will beep letting you know. It’s a must on a wii or Wii U they have 2.0 ports , Xbox and PlayStation have 3.0 , and most pc’s come with 2.0 , and at least one 3.0 port / or all 3.0.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. However, it will only operate at the speed of the old port, not the speed of USB 3.1 Type C port. If you computer has an empty PCIe card slot on the motherboard, the consider getting a PCLe card with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port. This will give you maximum happiness!
