• Yes as long as your stereo supports the drives format and size. Some stereos have limits on supported formats and drive sizes.

• It's not the drive in question FLAC or OGG high def files can be stored anywhere. The system and the software/firmware onboard will be the deciding factor. Check with the manufacturer.
