QuestionI bought two of these from Best Buy, 20200512 an 20200514. Both only get about 10-15 MBps copying small Excel files. Both only get about 150-160 MBps copying music files. This can't be normal. Is this a bad batch of T7s?

- Answer Not necessarily. A "new PC" with Windows 7 (unless you selected the downgrade) doesn't sound new at all. In other words, the PC itself may be new but lack the latest technology. Your hard drive and motherboard can also create a bottleneck. Check these things out with whoever / wherever you bought your PC to be certain. If you can, try it on a USB-C port or newer PC and see if it's still slow.

- Answer I know this will sound odd, but i do not use fingerprint ID on any kind of electronics PERIOD, that includes the fingerprint ID on my laptop. Password only.

- Answer Yes its compatible as long as you have a usb-a or usb-c input. The only issues so far are with the M1 Macs installing the security software.

- Answer I used it to clone my internal hard drive on my Mac Mini 2012 and use it as a boot disk so it should work for 2019 iMac as the process should be the same.

QuestionIt worked well. But now there is an issue, when plug it in, it mounts normally, and then I use touch id/password to open the data. When it unlocks, it doesn't show up in the file system at all. I have to go to Disk Utility and mount it manually. MacOS.
