QuestionDo you need to install the samsung software on every device where you plan to use it ? Or just to setup the fingerprints?

- Answer I haven't tried on a mobile device yet, but backed up data from 2 laptops, in order to use encryption you have to download the software. If you dont download it, you can still use device but without encryption.

- Answer Since this portable drive is only for storing data, it doesn’t need memory/RAM. It can’t run games or apps on its own without being connected to a computer or tablet, etc.
