“I bought the Samsung UBD-M9500 Blu-Ray player and HW-N950 Soundbar. The Atmos notice isn't coming up on the soundbar when I play an Atmos disc, but it does when I use my X-Box. Both are plugged directly into the soundbar HDMI ports. Please explain.”

• Your player defaults to Auto for audio format. If it isn't detecting the capabilities of the sound bar try going in to settings/sound and change the output method to Bitstream.

• Hello: Is HDMI audio configured for Auto? I would suggest calling 1-800-SAMSUNG and speak with tech support to inquire.

• Return your sound bar and purchase a serious system . Soundbars are only decent at any time, and never give you the sound you need....even the best. So just return it and get actual surround speakers......
