“At camp, is there a way to use my phone to access my dvr playlist from direct tv (which i can do on my phone) and have it play on the tv through this device using the bluetooth? We do have an apparently cheap tv at camp. Thanks!”

There is no Bluetooth or WiFi. The connection is hdmi cable or regular rca connector cables.
