I would suggest staying in contact with your local Best Buy Appliance Associate, signing up for Best Buy's online email notifications, and watching for weekly sales circulars for the best price on the pedestals. One important thing to keep in mind: if you install the pedestals after your washing machine is already set up and in use, it's important to keep the machine in a relatively vertical position while attaching the pedestals. Turning the washer upside down or even laying it completely on its side after the shipping bolts have been removed could damage the machine. Keep them upright, and you shouldn't have any problems :)

A:AnswerSamsung's WE357A7P drawer extends out 16-1/2" from the pedestal when fully opened. The bottom of the pedestal drawer is 1-1/2" off the floor, so the edge of the drip pan would need to be less than 1-1/2" high in order for the drawer to be able to open unobstructed.
