“I purchased a hw-q60t sound bar and a swa-8500s rear speaker set. But the rear module won't pair to my soundbar. I connect the speakers to the module, plug it in, get the flashing blue light, but holding the mute button does nothing (no ID SET message).”

Hi Rich! When pairing the HW-Q60T to the SWA-8500S, press UP on the directional pad on the soundbar remote for 5 seconds to put the soundbar into ID Set mode, rather than mute.
