Yes . You have to pair it to a Samsung sound bar

Short answer, yes. The sound bar will be linked to your subwoofers for the base and rumble and the rear speakers gives it an additional surround sound feel. With the aid of the sound bar the speakers are able to reach its full potential to give you the quality sound. However, without the sound bar you can operate the speakers independently but the quality is not optimum and would not be recommended. Hope this helps.
