Yes you should be able to increase the volume for rear speakers independently. Press the settings button on the remote. Look for something like "RL" or Rear Level on the status display of the soundbar and use the circular ring button (NOT the toggle volume or toggle subwoofer button) and press the upper or lower circular portions of the circular button to increase or decrease the rear speaker volume.
