“Am using the HW-M360 sound bar. Am wondering if this speaker system would work if the wireless receiver was placed 20 to 25 feet from the soundbar. Anyone have any information regarding maximum effective distance between soundbar and wireless receiver?”

• This is a follow-up answer to my own question. I contacted Sony Support. Their reply follows: "Thank you for contacting Samsung. With reference to your E-mail, I have checked information for you and I see that you can connect the speakers to the sound bar up to 33 feet. If you would like to get the more information about the speakers and Sound bar, please get back to us. We would be glad to help you with the information." Trusting their answer is reasonably accurate.

• The speakers will stay linked up to about 15 ft from the sound bar. At 20ft you start getting distortion and 25ft they totally lose connection.
