The supplied speaker wire is approx. 13' long. If connected I suggest 24 gauge stranded speaker wire using silver electrical solder. I purchased RCA AH100R 100ft for less than $5.00 at BEST BUY. It may refer to 24 gauge as cable calibre 24. It is usually best to keep the speaker cable as short as necessary because the longer the speaker cable the more watts are necessary from the amplifier which in turn may require heavier wire as well. Also, the lower the wire number eg. 20 gauge or 22 gauge is thicker than 24 gauge wire. I'm extending my speaker wire to approximately 20' feet. I experimented with the supplied wire connecting 2 speaker wires together (no soldering) to 26ft. The sound was just as clear and performance equal. I was very careful not to incorrectly cross speaker wires or positive with negative. I think the receiver module provides 54 watts of power to the speakers (2). I didn't measure it assuming approx. 25 watts to each speaker. I'm certainly not an expert at any of this electronic stuff and I hope you are happy with your outcome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! The Rear Speaker wire has a proprietary clip that clips into the rear transmitter box and makes it more difficult to extend the length of the cables. If you are trained in how to extend and work with cables of that sort, they are standard speaker wiring with the proprietary clip on the end and can be extended; however, once the clips are cut off, the warranty is void. ^Gina
