- Answer No, the SWA9000S does not work with HW-N650. It will need the SWA8500S.

QuestionHey! I would use this with a HW-M450 soundbar and I know it won't produce true 5.1 surround sound, because it is just a 2.1 soundbar, but is it any good? I mean, is it worth it to buy the rear speaker kit or not much of a "musthave"?

- Answer I wouldn’t bother. I have a 3.1 soundbar with the rear speakers and the rear speaker soundkit adds very little value. I would simply stick with the 2.1 soundbar.

QuestionWhy is there a huge discrepancy as to which wireless rear speaker is compatible with the HW-N650 sound bar? The Samsung website says that the SWA-8500 are compatible however the Best Buy salesperson recommends the SWA-9000s. I ended up purchasing both.

- Answer I had the same problem the sales reps at Bestbuy informed me the 9000 worked with my N650 then online and Samsung tech said 8500. I listened to Samsung and got the 8500 and they work perfect.

- Answer I do not know but it did work with my HW-M450, but its still not the best, the sound is not good, only the sound bar I could hear from, still trying to fix it but am not sure if it can be done. Good luck.

- Answer When I connected my SWA-8500S to my HW-MM55C (Sam's / Costco's version of the HW-M550), the sound bar then gave an option to adjust the volume of the new rear speakers... so I ended up with a quite good level of sound from them. That said, there's no left/right volume adjustment to fine tune the balance of the system.
