• Since the last poster didn't answer clearly, yes, it comes with 8gb built in with the option of additional memory via SD card. So you don't NEED to buy more memory if 8gb is enough.

• Note that its limited to micro SD and SDHC cards (32gb max). Micro SDXC will not work. Yes I know you were thinking of that nice 1tb SanDisk microsdxc card.....
