A:Answer I'll answer my own question since I have now bought it... Yes, you can play music from the memory card. However, in my experience, it keeps the two memories seperated as "internal" and "external / card". So, instead of it being a 40GB player, it basically becomes an 8GB player and a 32GB (or whatever size card you buy) player (actual sizes are less after formating). Still lets you play from both sets of memory, it just doesn't let you do it at the same time. Maybe I'm just not doing something right though.
