It's rechargeable by plugging into USB Port like on a computer/laptop. Or you can charge it via USB Charger (Wall Outlet). Normally takes 2-hours for a full charge.

So it charges as your uploading files to it but you can also charge it by plugging it into a usb wall wart. I don't believe it can be charging and broadcasting wifi at the same time. I think we get around 6 hrs of use on a full battery before it has to be recharged. That was on a recent trip with multiple devices streaming from it at the same time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Basically the flash drive is powered by the usb interface. Every usb capable device gives power thru the usb port. When a usb flash drive is pluged into a usb port, it gets powered automatically. Hope it helps solve your question.
