Can this drive be used to download and erase photos from an SD card without needing to be connected to a computer? I want to use the drive for photo storage cutting down the number of SD cards I will need.”

• Yes you could do this. But the process is cumbersome.

• yes download the sandisc app and you are all set

• The SanDisk Connect 64GB Wireless Media Drive can be used as a portable hard drive. However you can't download data from an SD card without computer access.
