is should work with mac as long as the files you are saving are comparable with the drive

So sorry do not know about Mac - too expensive for my budget - don't see why it wouldn't work though. Call Best Buy Geek Squad they are so helpful and I am sure they will have the answer - if not call manufacturer of the one you are using. I have Windows 7 and transferred stuff to my new HP All In One Windows 10 Desktop, worked like a charm

Not sure about Macs but I have been using the "SanDisk" flash drives on my Linux computers running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with no issues.
