• It should work with just about any recent (last 8 years) computer with standard USB2 ports, even USB3 will allow a USB2 device to be connected.

• yes. I have used SanDisk with my Vista and had no problems. Vista was good for me but now there are no upgrades anymore to support it, so I got windows 10 and have no problems with the SanDisk.
