Yes it will work. There is an adapter that is packaged with the drive that allows you to connect it to a USB3 port

However, please note that you might not get the optimized transfer speeds while using this SSD Drive with USB 3.1 Gen 1/ USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 interfaces.
