I'm assuming you plan on taking the photos with a phone or dedicated digital camera. This is just a solid-state hard drive, so you would need to physically connect it and transfer the photos to it. Depending on your photo taking device, you would most likely need to transfer them to this drive via a computer. That would make this a "back-up" but you could certainly then delete the photos from your photo taking device to allow for more to be taken.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive is for use with a computer or any device capable of storing to an external hard drive. Most cameras will not directly store photos to an external hard drive. However, if you are bringing a laptop, the drive (1TB) will quickly store a lot of photos, video or anything else you deem to put on it. If you have access to the internet, I would also backup your photos there as an additional backup. If you do not want to bring a laptop and are looking for more camera storage, look for SD cards or a card compatible with your camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I looked at it too fast and was thinking it was a phone case that actually held extra storage - like you can buy cases that have extra battery life... THANKS!
