Please allow us to inform you that the SanDisk®️ portable SSDs are a plug and play devices. You can connect the drive to the computer and start transferring the data using drag and drop or copy/paste method. You do not require any special driver, firmware update or software to use the drive on computer. Our drives use the native drivers of the host device. To know the number of pictures of this drive can store, please refer to the below mentioned link : -- https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/69
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It all depends on the actual size of the files, given the 61 MP size if you are concerned about having enough space I would suggest going to the 2TB drive. I am using the 1TB with my Sony gear and have found it to be fast in both upload and download. It all depends on how many photos you normally take? Are you shooting weddings, etc that have a much higher number of photos taken then for your peace of mind get the 2TB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A 61 megapixel camera saving in JPEG should be 40-50MB per image. A 1TB drive is about 931GB after formatting. Assuming each of your images is in the middle at 45MB, that would let you save about 20,700 images on this drive. I have this drive. It's EXTREMELY fast, but make sure you use high quality USB 3.2 cables with it, or you'll be disappointed with the speed, as it will not give you the full speed with cables not designed for USB 3.2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m going to go with half. Mind you that is based off of 1 being 1/2 of 2. It could also be 2/4 or 5/10.
