• No, iPad 2 does not have lightning port which is what this device requires.

• The iPad 2 doesn't have lightning connection right? It's the older wide connector? If so, this will not work with it!

• Yes it will! It has two connectors on it- one with a lightning connector (that plugs into iPhones/iPads) and the other with a regular USB.
