I have not found a way to transfer anything other then pic and movie files. I've tried Both the USB camera adapter and the card reader. Both only acknowledge movie and photo files. I've been transferring through iTunes but, you have to have the app on your iPad. My friend will email word docs to herself for opening on iPad. I've been trying to find an easier way to transfer GarageBand files to iTunes. The only way I have now is to sending GarageBand file to iCloud, open GarageBand file on Mac, then render the file as AIF to iTunes, connecting the iPad to the Mac, then transfer music file through iTunes. Apple isn't very concerned with this. I've spent hours on the phone with Apple to be told to use AIRDROP, which only works between IOS and OS after 2012. At that point I was told there is no solution. Anyone know of an easier way I would love to hear about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this has nothing to do with a ipad....unless you use the iPad camera connection kit then plug in the USB connector from that kit and plug the thumb drive into it,,,and even then i dont know if that will work....
