A:Answeryou can do both, for the computer you can use strait the UBS port and for the Samsung device you should have an connector from it to the USB. and that will work too

Keep in mind it keeps everything in the original format, this means you can’t go to your pc open scandisk file and view videos.
You’ll need to download photos/video with iTunes to laptop in order to see images/video on any other platform.
Kind of defeats the purpose.
Your better off just downloading to PC.
Unless you just want to use scandisk as a backup or storage device, which you would need to use your phone to access in future.
