Yes BUT it's only 120GB, more than enough for your operating system and apps but you're losing A LOT of storage. Consider a larger size (storage not physical) or using an external storage solution if you want to use this drive. They do make 240gb and 480gb models too for only a few bucks more.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes , it's the same physical size . the speed improvement is unbelievable !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This should work as a replacement for your laptops original harddrive. They are physically the same size, yet the SSD is much faster, quieter, and doesn't create the heat that a standard HD will. I have replaced several laptop HD's with similar items to this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So I'm trying to upgrade my Asus laptop it is a E510.. and I'm running out of space on it but I want to try to get as much space as possible like maybe a one or two terabyte if the aces laptop is big enough to do that I'm not sure and I would love some recommendations on what internal hard drive I can put in it to make it have more space thank you...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have access to the hard drive bay on your ASUS Q551LN, then you should be able to remove the old hard drive and install any SATA SSD in it's place. You will be required of course to set up the operating system (Windows) on the new SSD, so make sure that you have the required backups or installation DVD's / CD's available prior to doing so, as well as any specific hardware drivers that you might need for your computer. If you are performing a fresh installation of Windows, you'll need to have the proper Activation key available as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if the Asus Laptop has a sata port where the old hard drive is. It will fit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I believe it will! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the ASUS convertible Q551Ln uses a standard laptop SATA footprint. You will be able to mount this in place of the original mechanical drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will fit. I don't think I've seen any 2.5" SSDs not fit in an ssd bay. The thickness of this SSD is 7mm where an hdd is about 9mm. The thickness won't matter though because the SATA connectors are all the same and the screw holes are all the same. Just enjoy the speeds :)
