Yes, this will work on almost any laptop PC that's been manufactured in the last decade. The previous Hard Disk Drive interface (IDE) has not been used for almost 10 years. It is a fairly safe bet that any laptop still in use is likely SATA and thereby able to utilize SSD technology to replace their spinning drives.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work with it. The SSD is SATA 3, and it's backwards compatible with SATA 2 and 1. If the Laptop is SATA 2 the SSD will work at SATA 2 speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it most certainly will, cloning the original hard drive to the SSD first would be your best bet. Access to the drive on the Asus might be intereting, then the fragile and close quarters inside the laptop might be a consideration. But it will plug right in and work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't say. The Sandisk is a standard size SATA SSD. One important thing to be aware of with laptops is the height of the hard drive. Some accept a 9mm thick drive, but others only have room for a 7mm thick drive. Research your computer before buying. I don't remember but I think the Sandisk is a 7mm drive. It's easily looked up via Google.
