If your laptop has a sata drive in it you clone it to the SSD, remove the old drive and put the new one in close up your laptop and you are done. Seagate and Western Digital have cloner software at their sites which you can download (free). If your lap top does not have a second sata connection you can get a USB enclose and put the drive in there and clone it. (Note your current drive has to match the software you down load. Also Acronis has cloner software you can purchase that works with any drive.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It looks to be the same size, just thinner. Comes with double-stick tape.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need the side panels that are already attached to your current hard drive by the manufacturer, but it does come with a square piece of plastic that sticks to it for support. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have a hard plastic spacer that attaches with adhesive but you might not need it. Mine was just a simple swapping of drives with the spacer not needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Drive is a 9mm and it comes with a bumper to fit into a 12mm case like for an Atomos drive. That's the only thing that comes in the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should fit directly into the laptop with no issues...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not necessary as it's a 2.5" drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some laptops come with a HDD caddy or an adapter mount that you have to remove mounting screws to install the SSD. Manufacturers match up the mounting screw holes for almost very application. I've mounted some HDD / SDD's directly under a hatch in the bottom with hardly any hardware transfer. Couple screws, or a small bracket. Most of the current SSD's are 7-9mm thick the thinner being used for the very thin laptops & being a lower profile. Most manufactures will include some sort of filler gasket that will keep the SSD contacts aligned, And uses up some of the extra space. I've replaced drives in 7 - 8 laptops , and every one has been different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this comes with a adapter that makes it thicker to accommodate laptop drive bays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, it has a little plastic piece that will increase the thickness to fit a 2.5" laptop. On some laptops you dont even need the plastic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
