“Will this CF work for a Cannon EOS D40 Camera and is there any software needs for my PC?”

• It works through USB so no software is needed, Windows will find the right driver and install it automatically as long as you have internet. The brand doesn't matter, any CF in you camera will work with computer. All you to worry about is whether the computer recognizes the camera. I use the 30D and it was just plug and play, no software installation needed.

• I do not know if that works for Canon ,any Canon This card doesn’t require any special program in computer Just connect camera to computer and a drive automatically download in computer after recognizing the tipe of camera Good luck

• My camera is a Sony. Check the book that came with your Cannon for the correct CF for your camera. As far as software needs, you will need a photo program in your PC to open your pictures in and save them on your computer. I have PaintShop by Corel, but there are many available. Working with photos is a lot of fun....enjoy!!
