• You have to be a little tech savvy to install this first you have to use a cloning software like Acronis. To image your old drive assuming you want all of your programs and OS moved over. Then you will need to either place this drive after cloning on the same SATA spot your old drive was on. You can still use your old drive for storing things like music and videos and such. There are some very good how to's on the net hope this helps. I used this one to replace my wife's old HDD and she is very happy with it.
