Q: QuestionWill this drive easily fit and connect as a replacement for the SLOW data hard drive (not the small SSD used for the OS) in my ASUS Q534U? There is no room to spare... Thanks!
Asked by PjPj.
- A:Answer I would expect so. Most HDD are 3.5" or 2.5", the former for desktop machines. This SSD is 2.5", so you should be good (assuming machine handles SATA; I know nothing about the Q534U).

Q: QuestionDoes it come with software to mirror/disk copy the existing drive's contents?
Asked by JT69.
- A:Answer Mine did not.. and the website was not much help either. Since Western Digital bought them out - searching for software on Sandisk's website led me to Western Digitals.. The free software from WD would allow you to copy the drives = but it would not recreate the partitions and expand it to use the new WHOLE drive size (it would create the partition as the same size - and then give you another partition.. So in effect worthless.. You will have to search the web for software that expands the partition size..) Previous purchases of the Sandisk came with software that would do it - but I failed to find any from them on their website..

Q: QuestionWill this SSD fit and work with my ASUS K53E laptop? It's older and still works well, but I'd like to replace the HD for maintenance reasons. Thank you!
Asked by Jazzsinger98.
- A:Answer As long as your current drive is a standard 2.5" size, this will fit. It's meant to be a direct replacement for laptop-size drives. Many newer laptops have a smaller format, but since yours is a bit older, I'm 98% sure it will fit.

In order to know if your laptop has an internal 2.5" SATA slot, it would be best to contact HP Customer Support as they would have all the technical specifications for your laptop.
