• No, the drive does not comes with a heatsink and we do not support, recommend adding or altering our hard drives. If you wanted to add a heat sink, this is something you would have to attempt on your own. As well, please be aware that altering the drive in this way will void the warranty. • Depends on your use. If you're reading and writing all day, probably get a heatsink. For an OS drive with average use, you should be fine without.
