In this case, the brand issued an msrp with the product. They could say it has an MSRP of $2,000,000. For a technical answer, they are usually mass produced by the same chip vendor, and are simply branded with a different sticker before shipping to Crucial/Sandisk/etc. The Sandisk, Crucial P2, and the WD Base nvme have been seen with identical chipsets.
