This is actually a good SSD. Call it crap because you can't find a cloning software? Seriously dude because you can't afford to buy a cloning software? If you read the included information sheet you can get a cloner software for free.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to download migration software from the manufacturer’s website. SanDisk has a version of Acronis to clone your existing drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I understand you fustrations, I thought the same thinkg but when I did this I used the Apricorn Data Transfer cable and upgrade suite software CD-ROM that came with it. the softeware is called EZ Gig IV with Data Select Cloning software for PC and ShirtPocket SuperDuper for Mac. Once I used this and installed the SSD into my Dell AIO I was plesently surprised and satisfied with the results from it. Just make sure to follow the instructions verbatum the software tells you to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use a 3rd party shareware application as well. A simple one to use is EaseUS Clone, worked great for me for this HD. https://www.easeus.com/disk-copy/clone-resource/clone-hard-drive.htm However, if the disk you are migrating from is larger than this SSD, you are going to need to use a program that can shrink your current partition first and then clone the disk.
