• Hi, please be informed that if this MacBook has an internal 2.5" SATA slot, then you can connect this SSD Drive in it. In order to know if this MacBook has an internal 2.5" SATA slot, it would be best to contact Apple Customer Support as they would have all the technical specifications for this MacBook.

• The internal storage of M1 Macs cannot be expanded but external USB-C and Thunderbolt enclosures are quite fast with this SSD
